Dr Lisa Holmes (Loughborough University) Cost of Implementation & Value for Money
Birmingham Seminar - 9th November
Dawn Roberts (Head of Youth Offending, Birmingham City Council) Children’s Services in Birmingham
Andrew Levitt (Bridges Ventures) Outcomes Contracts – The Opportunity
The seminars provided an opportunity for participants to hear about the latest research findings, policy developments and local implementation of evidence based interventions for children and young people in care and at risk of entering care and custody.
As well as presentations from key policy colleagues, researchers, Local Authorities and provider organisations about their experience of implementing evidence based services, there were discussions about the cost effectiveness of these interventions and innovative ideas for future funding. There was also opportunity to hear the perspectives of children, young people, carers and families.
