KEEP Prevention
The KEEP Prevention programme is designed for carers and special guardians with children aged 3-6 years. KEEP-P is a 90 minute weekly group programme which runs over 16 weeks. The programme has a specific weekly curriculum and free sessions are built in to allow flexibility according to need. The curriculum looks at how carers can help children to learn new behaviours and skills through cooperation, routine and positive parenting strategies. KEEP promotes setting children up for success in school and building friendship groups.
KEEP is designed to use the issues and ideas brought by the participants, and is tailored to their needs. There is a manual for the facilitators and summaries and handouts for the carers.
